CAMP GEN ALEJO S. SANTOS, Bulacan — Two suspected drug pushers were killed by police when they resisted arrest in drug buy-bust operations in Brgy. Matimbo, City of Malolos on Friday night, Bulacan Acting Provincial Director Sr. Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna said.

“A total of 22 drug suspects were also arrested by police in anti-drug operations conducted by Hagonoy, Bustos, San Miguel, Bocaue, Meycauayan, San Jose Del Monte City, Santa Maria and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU),” Bersaluna added.
Bersaluna identified the fatalities as Ronaldo Alcoriza Alias “Macdo,” legal age from Barangay Matimbo and Rainier Alfonso, a resident of Sitio Baog, also in Brgy. Matimbo, both in City of Malolos, both included in barangay watch-list.
According to Supt. Heryl Bruno, Malolos City chief of police, both Alcoriza and Alfonso died on-the-spot when they traded shots with anti-narcotics operatives after a deal with police undercover agents about 9:40 pm on Friday and both of their unidentified cohort escaped.
Recovered from Alcoriza was a 38-caliber revolver with serial number 138022, 8 pieces small sachets containing “shabu,” the buy-bust money inside the black sling bag and two (2) pieces 9mm cartridge cases.
Alfonso, on the other hand, yielded caliber 38 revolver Squire Bingham without serial numbers, loaded with four (4) pieces fired cartridges case and one (1) piece live ammunition, 7 pieces heat-sealed plastic sachets of dried suspected marijuana fruiting, 8 pieces heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu with total estimated amount of P15,000, two disposable lighters, and buy-bust money.
“A total of 50 pieces plastic sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money were confiscated from the 22 arrested suspects during the operations,” Bersaluna said.
Confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination while Criminal complaint for Violation of RA 9165 is being prepared against the arrested suspects. (RONDA Balita Online News)
