A public school teacher was slain by two unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants at Barangay Poblacion, Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental last Friday.
Killed was Basiledes Ledon, 59, of the said village.
Based on the initial report of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (Norppo), the suspects, according to some bystanders, reportedly parked their motorcycle nearby, and one of them approached and shot the victim.
The perpetrators, who were wearing jackets and bonnets, fled.
