CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Three suspected drug pushers were killed and at least 31 others were arrested in separate drug operations conducted by Bulacan police on Wednesday and Thursday.
Bulacan Provincial Director Sr. Supt. Chito G. Bersaluna identified the fatalities as Alias Bok, Ramon Maningas and Alias Ryan.
According to Supt. Heryl Bruno, Malolos City chief of police, operatives of the city’s drug enforcement unit hatched a sting against Alias Bok and Bungo about 10 pm on Wednesday in Brgy. Taal.
“After the drug deal was consummated, Bok drew a firearm and shot the operatives. A gunfight ensued between operatives and alias Bok that resulted to his death while his cohort Bungo was able to escape,” Bruno said.
“Recovered from the scene were two 9mm fired cartridge, a Smith & Wesson cal. 38 revolver without serial number 1 gold plated ring, 2 plastic sachets of suspected marijuana dried leaves and 8 plastic sachets of suspected shabu,” Bruno added.
On the other hand, based on the report of Supt. Fitz Macariola, CSJDM police chief, on September 13 at around 12:45 PM, at Purok 7, Barangay Bagong Buhay 1, CSJDM a buy-bust operation was conducted against Maningas. After the transaction the suspect sensed that the poseur-buyer is a police officer then eventually he drew his firearm and fired towards the police operatives. An exchange of fire ensued.
The suspect sustained gunshot wounds while his unidentified male cohort managed to escape by jumping at the window. The rescue team was requested for medical attention but upon arrival of the rescue team, suspect Monching was declared dead.
Meanwhile, about 11:26 pm on Thursday, a buy-bust operation was conducted by personnel of Santa Maria in Brgy. Caypombo, Sta. Maria, Bulacan against alias Ryan. After the consummated transaction, the suspect sensed that he was dealing with police operatives. The suspect immediately took his firearm in his motorcycle and fired towards the police operatives but missed. Police operatives retaliated until alias Ryan was killed on the spot.
Bulacan Scene of the Crime Operatives team processed the crime scene and recovered 2 cal. 38 revolvers, 15 plastic sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.
Bersaluna identified the 9 arrested drug suspects on Wednesday as Ireneo Dela Cruz, Dominique Adame, Jonathan Ordinaryo, Mark Anthony Sarrondo, Elvis Moraga Nicolas, Bernardo Darilay Belza, Ronald John Miasis, Lorena Ulitin, and Bachiba Lerit.
On the other hand, Bersaluna also identified the arrested suspects on Thursday drug operations as Ernesto Aporto, Roxan Conde, Rodolfo Salvador Jr., Maribeth Santos, Gemma Santos, Amalia Bose, Mia Gabriel, Jacquelyn Faigao, Clarizz Ann Castro, April Amoranto, Joana Trinidad, Vergilio De Guzman, Jayson Ibañez, Melvin Cruz, Rebecca Concepcion, Napoleon Aguilar, Jeffrey Salazar, Joan Santos, Alvin Alonzo, John Edsel Talamante, Quenylyn Nierras and Beatriz Ricardo.
“The two days drug operations were conducted by 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), City/Municipal Police Stations of Calumpit, Meycauayan, Hagonoy, San Ildefonso, Marilao, Balagtas, Plaridel, Baliwag, Bocaue, City of Malolos, Norzagaray and City San Jose del Monte,” Bersaluna said.
A total of sixty 82 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, 3 plastic sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money were confiscated during the operations.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination while criminal complaints against the suspects are now being prepared for filing.
