Ramil Daffon, a barangay kagawad who surrendered to the PNP’s Oplan Tokhang, was shot dead inside his house while watching television with his wife. Investigator SPO2 Ruben Orsolino said three men barged into Daffon’s house and two of them opened fire at the village official who was lying in a sofa bed.

The wife said her husband had no known enemies in their community, but she admitted that he was a shabu user. She said her husband was not involved in selling illegal drugs.
