Zulueta's five-year-old son, Nadjar Bacalso Zulueta, was injured in the incident. Based on the initial probe, the victims were inside their house at Purok Gumamela in Barangay Igat Island when two unidentified men barged in and shot the victims using a caliber .45 pistol and caliber .30, which were recovered at the crime scene.

Two were killed while a child was hurt in a shooting incident in Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur on Thursday morning.

Police identified the fatalities as fisherman Jose Canoy Cabatcha, 42, and his live-in partner Naima Bacalso Zulueta.

Zulueta’s five-year-old son, Nadjar Bacalso Zulueta, was injured in the incident.
