BACOLOD CITY – The son of a convicted drug personality was killed after he was gunned down in Barangay 5 here on Saturday, May 16.

Slain was Gerald Cuadra, 43, a resident of 24th Street Calamba in Barangay 1 here. He was the son of Jose Kim “Boy” Cuadra, who is serving a life sentence at the New Bilibid Prison after being convicted for drug trafficking in 2016.

Based on the initial investigation of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), the victim was shot seven times by unidentified motorcycle-riding assailants past 2 p.m.

Maj. Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 2, said that one of the gunmen approached the victim just as he was getting off his pick-up truck, and fired at him several times.
