CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – A member of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) in Surigao del Norte town was gunned down by a riding-in-tandem on Wednesday afternoon, a flash report reaching the regional command of Northeastern Mindanao Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) based here on Thursday said.

Sketchy report coming from Surigao del Norte Police provincial Office (PPO) also stated that the victim, identified as Felisberto A. Dumadag lll, 48 and a resident of Puro Kasilak, Barangay Poblacion, Tubod town, Surigao del Norte, was a concurrent member of the SB in Tubod town, and also former barangay chairman of Barangay Poblacion of that same town.

Initial investigation conducted by the Tubod Municipal Police Station and Surigao del Norte PPO showed that the victim was just sitting at the waiting shed in Purok Silangan of that same barangay when the two unidentified persons on board a black motorcycle (MIO) Yamaha appeared at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 12) and shot the victim several times in various parts of his body using .45 caliber pistol.
