CAMP Brig. Gen. Paciano, Rizal, Sta. Cruz, Laguna — It’s still a bloody day in Laguna after police killed five more drug suspects in their continuous operations and hunting of drug suspects last Thursday.
Chief Supt. Edward Carranza, Calabarzon police director, said the one of the fatalities, identified as Miguel Centeno, of Bgy. Parian, Calamba City, engaged the cops in firefight after a buy-bust operation at 1:30 a.m. The suspect yielded a cal. .45 pistol and a sachet of shabu.
The Sta. Cruz policemen killed Louie Dizon Valenciano, of Bgy. Sto. Angel Norte, Sta. Cruz town, after selling shabu at 2 p.m. while in Sta. Rosa City at 5:30 p.m. in Bgy. Tagapo, suspect Edgar Layos, alias ‘Toto’, was killed for selling shabu after he fought off the arresting officers.
Also in Sta. Cruz town, suspect Dayan Estrada of Bgy. Patimbao was killed at 9:15 p.m. after he sold shabu to a poseur-buyer. A sachet of shabu and a cal. .9mm pistol was recovered from him.
In Bgy. Pooc, Sta. Rosa City, suspect Benjie Marabe, alias ‘Tangkad’, was selling shabu at 11:40 p.m. when he was killed for resisting the cops using a cal. .38 revolver.
Last Wednesday, police operatives killed eight drug suspects in anti-drug operations n Calamba and Sta. Rosa cities and Sta. Cruz town.
