Camp General Alejo Santos, Bulacan – A drug suspect was shot dead while two others were arrested in Pulilan and Meycauayan City last Sunday as the Bulacan police intensified its anti-illegal drugs campaign.
Senior Supt. Romeo M. Caramat Jr., Bulacan provincial police director, identified the slain suspect as Brian Paul Trinidad Manalo, of Barangay Narra, Francisco Homes, City of San Jose Del Monte.
Manalo was killed in an armed encounter with elements from the Bulacan Police Intelligence Branch.
The arrested suspects in Pulilan and Meycauyan City drug sting were identified as Larry Francisco Soriano, of Novaliches, Quezon City and Jessica Mae Dela Cruz Gonzales alias Isca, of Barangay Bayugo, Meycauayan City, Bulacan.
During the buy-bust operations, police recovered seven sachets of shabu and a loaded .45 caliber pistol.
The arrested suspects and seized pieces of evidence were brought to Bulacan Crime Laboratory Office for appropriate examination, while the cadaver of the slain suspect was brought to Flabel Funeral Parlor in Brgy. Lolomboy, Bocaue Bulacan for autopsy.
The arrested suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165.
