Three suspected drug pushers were killed in a shootout with the police during a drug buy-bust operation.
The fatalities were identified as Julius Gacita, the group’s alleged leader, and his cohorts Dexter Giango and Edwin Oriendo.
Danao City Police Station chief Senior Inspector Alejandro Batobalonos said they tried to convince the suspects to surrender while in the middle of the gun battle but they allegedly refused.
