Shot dead in what the police claimed was a shoot-out following a buy-bust operation. The operation stemmed from a two-week surveillance operation on Labolabo who was allegedly a drug peddler. The suspect drew his .38-cal. pistol when he sensed that he was dealing with a policeman, but the farmer was shot first.
Labolabo’s 18-year-old daughter, Tifanny, fainted after seeing her father’s body. She said they had told her father to stop peddling drugs after he surrendered to the police during Oplan Tokhang.
