Nacorda had been sitting in one of the benches in the interior portion of Sitio Pakpakan when an unidentified man got off from a motorcycle few meters away, went towards Nacorda and shot him on the different parts of his body.
According to the police, the motive of the killing was drug-related, after they found out that the victim was a drug surrenderer. Nacorda was reported to be a menace in the said area, and usually gets involved in trouble.
